Niñez, Juventud y Vida Familiar
Sofía nació en la ciudad de Fort Laudardale y creció en la ciudad de Miami. Sus padres son José F. Daccarett y Laura Char Carson que son de origen colombiano.3 4 . Asistió al St. Hugh School y se graduó en Carrollton School en Miami.5 A los 18 años ingresó a la University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA, por sus siglas en inglés). Carson habla inglés, francés y español. Durante 17 años se entrenó en: ballet, point, jazz, contemporáneo, hip hop y trap.
Trayectoria y Legado
Ingresó al mundo de la televisión cuando dio vida al personaje de Chelsea en Austin & Ally en el capítulo "Princesses and Prizes",7 en el que actuó junto a Laura Marano, Ross Lynch, Raini Rodríguez y Calum Worthy. Carson también hizo el papel de Soleil en dos episodios en la serie Faking It de MTV.
Su primer sencillo fue Rotten to the Core en el 2015 para su Album Descendants Soundtrack. en el 2016 lanza un single titulado Love Is The Name. Luego fue grabado otra versión con J. Balvin.
