Serenade Valse
de Marc Perrone
How long does it take
To the blue Moon to break?
How many pieces does it make?
So I stare at the satellite
While I wait for the rite
Doesn’t seem and it’s not right
To wait for things to rearrange
Expecting the best but
Knowing it will be so strange
To keep it when it’s not supposed to be kept
The sea has been so full of
Shells that still shine
But inside of the beauty skin there’s an old frosted bead
As white as the Moon
But bluish as the runes
Seen by Odin on the tree that gave him the wisdom not
To wait for things to rearrange
Expecting the best but
Knowing it will be so strange
To keep it when it’s not supposed to be kept
So I stare at the satellite
While I wait for the rite
Doesn’t seem and it’s not right
To wait for things to rearrange
Expecting the best but
Knowing it will be so strange
To keep it when it’s not supposed to be kept
