Su verdadero nombre es Roberto Flores. Nació en el 1975 en San Diego, California.

Cuando tenía 18 años estuvo a punto de fallecer a causa de un disparo recibido durante un tiroteo.

Es uno de los máximos representantes del rap chicano.

Esta artista cultiva el uso de samplers procedentes de canciones "oldies" de los 50' y 60'.
